Day 1 – Complete Broker Tasks, eXp Team Agreement, Mentor Program & Setup your eXp Tools

Day 1 Expectation:

 2+ hours

   Complete Broker Tasks

  1. Attend your state broker orientation and meet the Brokers. 

  1. Make sure to join an Association of Realtors (AOR)/Multiple Listing Services (MLS) within the first few days.  

Upon affiliating your real estate license with eXp Realty, it is imperative that you promptly become a full member of a Local Association/Board of REALTORS or update the Association roster within a few days of completing your Onboarding process.

  • Determine your Local Board & MLS affiliation if you have not done so already.   

  • Pay your board and MLS dues and complete any required New Agent Orientation as soon as possible.  

  • Attend the entry-level class for your MLS. 

  • Purchase a lockbox if they are not supplied by your Local Board or MLS.

  • Visit or call your Association office and learn about committees and other ways you can become involved. 

  1. Make sure to add the Broker Calendar and lookout for announcements in your State Broker Workplace Group

  1. Check out the US Agent Center for your State resources.

Note: Watch for a Welcome Email from your Broker Team upon activation

                 Review, Sign and Complete the Internal eXp Team Agreement

*** This Section Does NOT Apply to Individual Agents. This is ONLY for Team Agents.  ***

Make sure to sign the internal team agreement. The Team Services Analyst will send out the internal team agreement in the following order: 

  1. Team Leader Addendum Packet to be signed by team leader (once team leader is activated).

  2. Team Member Addendum Packet to be signed by all parties (once team member is activated).

        • eXp Leadership (Reviews & Signs)
        • Team Leader (Completes Fillable Fields & Signs)
        • Team Member  (Reviews & Signs)

The Internal team agreement is sent from our electronic signature platform, “HelloSign/DropboxSign” ([email protected]).

Welcome to The Mentor Program for Mentees

The Mentor Program provides newly licensed agents with a partner and a path to gain the fundamental knowledge needed to start and build a successful real estate career. Each new agent, known as a mentee, is paired with a certified eXp Realty Mentor who is a member of the same MLS.

Passport/eXp OKTA is a localized dashboard for eXp applications and systems.  You will receive a ‘Welcome Email’ which provides tools, services, and your eXp email alias.

Log in here to easily access all of your eXp tools. 

IMPORTANT: Chrome is the preferred browser for eXp programs and platforms. Download Chrome to your computer.

 ** Note: The eXp email address is an “alias” that automatically forwards to the primary email account that was designated upon joining eXp. There is NOT a separate inbox specifically for the eXp email address. Make sure to check your spam/trash folder email. **

Workplace / Workplace Chat is a collaborative software for online group work, messaging, video conferencing, and news sharing. This allows eXp staff and agents to communicate and share announcements.

eXp Realty offers agents kvCORE, a robust lead generation and marketing platform. It provides comprehensive management from lead generation to contract, including web and IDX, listing promotion, transaction integration, and more. All eXp Realty agents get the complete agent version of kvCORE without any extra charges. For details on kvCORE for teams, please check the Marketplace tab on your kvCORE dashboard.

  2. Click “Optional Services”

  3. Locate “kvCORE”

  4. Click “Sign Up”

  5. Confirm Contact & MLS Details. You will NOT be able to change these details.

  6. If something looks to be incorrect, STOP, and reach out to Agent Transitions/Onboarding and your state’s eXp Realty Broker Team

    1. They can assist in updating your Enterprise account with the correct information.

    2. Once corrected then you can complete the opt in process.

  7. Check The Box That States ” I understand accounts that are inactive for 60 days will be closed.”

  8. Hit “Send”
